  • Over €250k for conservation of historic Galway City buildings

    Galway City Council has been awarded €260,000 in funding under the Community Monuments Fund to protect two historic buildings in the city.     Galway City Council has removed prior warning notices from two beaches following water quality tests done earlier this week. Prior Warning Notices were erected for Ballyloughane and Grattan beaches due to potential contamination from heavy rain run off.
