    University Hospital Galway is reporting heavy overcrowding today, with 65 patients on trolleys throughout the hospital, and some elective procedures being cancelled. The Emergency Department at UHG is extremely busy, with high numbers of people attending the department who need to be admitted to the hospital for ongoing treatment. Yesterday, 317 people attended the ED.
